I've always been drawn to candid moments...

As a child, I loved looking through old family albums, amazed at how a single photo could hold an entire memory. As a teen, I was always the one looking up, taking photos of the clouds, watching the sky. As I got older, I found myself stopping to capture the colors of a sunrise or sunset. Taking pictures had a way of making me slow down and be present in the moment.

Somewhere along the way, life shifted into motherhood, career, and responsibility. While I’m proud of that, I found myself in a cycle that left little room for me, and I forgot how to pause and take it all in.

In the last year, I started to feel that pull again… the need for something to break me out of my daily loop.

In July of 2025, I taught myself how to fly a drone and fell in love with the sky from an entirely new perspective, seeing the horizon in a way I hadn’t before.

In January, I picked up my first camera, learned how to truly use it, and began capturing light in a way that felt natural to me.

What started as a hobby transformed into Horizon & Light in November of 2025, and in a way, the name found me just as much as I found it. It has slowly reconnected me to my passion, pausing, capturing moments, and truly taking it all in.

The horizon isn’t just a place, it’s a destination.

It’s something that’s always been there, waiting for us to arrive… or return to.

And along the way, we meet people.

We create moments.

We make memories.

As a visual storyteller, I capture people in their most authentic state, laughing, celebrating, fully present in the moment.
